During Don's ten years (lead guitarist, bassist and vocalist) with Frankie Valli as one of The Four Seasons, he earned four gold singles, one gold and two platinum albums.
His scintillating vocal solos on "December '63 (Oh What A Night)", "Who Loves You" and "Slip Away", flawless harmonies and sizzling guitar-playing were hallmarks of the group's resurgence in the 1970s and 1980s.
Frankie Valli recorded Don's composition"Carrie (I Would Marry You)" , which Don wrote with Lee Shapiro (musical director and keyboardist with The Four Seasons) on his hit solo album "Our Day Will Come".
"...The Critters...were formed by guitarist/vocalist Don Ciccone, who later joined the Four Seasons, and was instrumental in the latter's substantial mid-Seventies comeback".
